In light of everything going on in the world right now, I wanted to take a non-traditional approach to some upcoming posts. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I don’t like watching or hearing the news right now. Nothing positive seems to come from it and who wants to feel more defeated amongst the already compromised situation we are in currently?
Let’s celebrate – July 23rd, National Gorgeous Grandma Day! I know everyone has a grandmother out there either in heaven or still on this earth and why don’t we celebrate her today? Take a moment to either reflect on your grandmother and all that she accomplished or just reflect on your existence because of her.
One of my grandmothers faced breast cancer nearly 25 years ago and today she is 90 and still going strong. I haven’t been able to visit her for the past few months due to COVID, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think of her often. My other grandmother passed away less than a year ago and that passing is still so fresh in my heart that I don’t feel like she’s really gone.
Post of photo if you’d like of your gorgeous grandmother and remember that because of her (or them) you are here today!
