Did you know, today is an important day in US government? January 20th is a marked day in the United States of America when the newly elected president is sworn into office. It didn’t always used to be in January, however. Rather this event was held on March 4th until the ratification of of the 20th Amendment in 1933. If March 4th fell on a Sunday, the inauguration was on March 5th.

The Constitution of the United States calls for the inauguration to be held on January 20th. Here we are on this special day; an opportunity for change and unity no matter what our political beliefs.

I ask my followers to take this day to think about the word, Chrysalis. Although it has many meanings and some significantly important to The Chrysalis Method, think about this. One definition of Chrysalis, “a stage of being or growth”  can perhaps bring some light to our current world and the state we’ve been in over the last year. The inauguration should be a day to celebrate growth in our country. Our mental and physical health rely so much on what’s happening around us. Let’s all try to grow in this transition of power of our country and support one another. May our mental and physical well-being benefit accordingly.

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy – not on fighting the old – but on building the new.”
