This year feels different compared to years in the past. I’m not sure if it’s because last year was so different and changed many lives. Or, is it because we’re all just ready for some normalcy to return? Or both? Whatever the reason, it feels like more people are ready to embrace the world and get out of their homes as we enter the beginning of summer.

Many women choose this time of year to get a breast augmentation so they feel confident in a bikini. Whether it’s because your breasts changed with childbearing, your weight has changed, you weren’t born with the size you wanted, or any other reason…sometimes that change can make you feel refreshed.

I meet so many women who feel shameful to admit they want a breast augmentation. There used to be such a taboo with this particular cosmetic surgery. Perhaps, that’s why women don’t want others to know they’ve had this procedure done.

One of the many reasons I started The Chrysalis Method is to help women recover physically and emotionally from breast surgeries. There is NO shame in getting a breast augmentation. Our bodies go through so much change over the years. If having a breast augmentation makes you feel more confident with your body, then OWN it! Don’t let others tell you otherwise.

Breast augmentation is one of the most common surgical procedures performed in the US. According to The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in 2019, there were 287,085 breast augmentation surgeries performed by board certified plastic surgeons in the US. Although this number dropped in 2020 due to COVID this procedure still saw tremendously high numbers even in 2020.

Breast augmentation surgery continues to be one of the most common procedures performed in the US, and shouldn’t be seen as a taboo. If you’re considering it and have any questions please reach out to us and we are happy to answer your questions at no cost to you! Get out there and rock that bikini with confidence. You deserve it!
